Why Give

We believe giving is an act of worship. It is our our response to God’s gracious gift of His son. Jesus demonstrated a life of selfless and sacrificial generosity, and invites His followers to also live generously.

Generous giving enables Crossroads to creates spaces for people to encounter God, bless one another and care for the needs of God’s people. Giving is also a central part of discipleship, as both an act of obedience and trust in God’s provision. When we give we are saying that it is God who ultimately provides for our needs.

‘Let each one give as he has made up his own mind and purposed in his heart, not reluctantly or sorrowfully or under compulsion, for God loves a giver whose heart is in his giving.’ 2 Corinthians 9:7

Give Monthly

We are grateful for each gift no matter the amount or how the gift is made. However, if you call Crossroads your spiritual home, and in a position to give financially, we would love for you to prayerfully consider setting up a regular, monthly gift. This greatly helps the leadership of Crossroads to better plan for the future and opens new possibilities to initiate impactful long-term projects to share the love of Jesus.

Giving is tax deductible

Crossroads is a registered ANBI and all gifts are tax deductible.

As it is our desire to be good and wise stewards of everything the Lord has entrusted to us, we would like to bring to your attention the very generous giving incentives in the Dutch tax law for charitable donations. One can deduct up to 10% of one’s gross income as gifts to a registered (ANBI) non-profit charitable organization such as Crossroads. Thus, depending on your income level, for every euro you give, the Dutch government contributes anywhere from 33% to 52%. Talk about making your money go a long way!

Non-Financial Gifts

Giving financially is just one way of expressing generosity. If you’re struggling financially or in debt, we encourage you to express generosity in a non-financial way by serving on a team, praying for the Church, or being generous with your time towards others.
